How Does Laser Hair Removal Work?

The Soprano Titanium 4cm applicator combines the three most effective laser wavelengths into a single applicator, simultaneously targeting different tissue depths and anatomical structures within the hair follicle.

In treatment, a thin layer of gel is applied to the skin and the applicator is passed over the area multiple times in a sweeping motion. The laser energy is gradually absorbed into the hair root to destroy the cells responsible for hair regrowth. The laser will only target the hair follicles and will not cause damage to the surrounding areas.

Is The Any Discomfort or Downtime?

Hair removal with the Soprano Titanium is virtually pain free, with only a mild sensation of warmth. In most cases there is very little inflammation of the skin. There may be slight redness straight post treatment, but this usually subsides quickly. Your practitioner will apply a cooling gel and a sunblock after treatment.

What Results Should I Expect?

For the best and most long-term results, we generally recommend a course of at least 6 – 8 sessions depending on area or skin type.

After your first session, hair follicles will usually drop out within 2 weeks, leaving a hair-free surface. Treatments are advised every 4-6 weeks, depending on the regrowth rate of the hair. Maintenance sessions may be necessary.
