Meet The Medispa S10 Team
Emma Idowu – Director
Emma is a qualified Beauty Therapist and has worked in the health and beauty industry for over twenty years. She has worked in salons around the country, developing her skills and knowledge to become an expert in skin and skin care.
She has run two of her own beauty businesses and appeared regularly in her local press offering skin care advice and also appeared on TV and in national magazines.
Her passion for skin care lead Emma to become Corporate Trainer for one of the world’s leading skin care companies, a role in which she spoke at conferences and lectured worldwide. She then developed an interest in the aesthetic and cosmetic surgery industry and went on to manage the largest cosmetic surgery business in Sheffield.
In May 2013 Emma opened Medispa S10 with long term friend and business partner, Juliet, and is delighted to consult and advise clients on evidence based treatments and skin care.
Emma is never happier than when reviewing the amazing results that clients can achieve from the treatments and products available at Medispa S10 and feels that there is nothing more rewarding than helping someone to feel better about themselves!!
Nicky Handley – Aesthetician
Nicky has been a member of the Medispa S10 team since June 2014. She qualified in Beauty Therapy at the White Rose School Of Beauty in Sheffield, retraining after a career as a projects assistant in construction. She has worked as a self-employed beauty therapist and has had an interest in the aesthetic field since suffering skin problems herself, overcoming them with the help of cosmeceutical products, peels and microdermabrasion – treatments which she loves to perform on her clients!
Nicky also performs all of our aesthetic procedures and signature beauty treatments.
As a huge advocate of our advanced treatments and cosmeceutical products, Nicky can often be found perusing our treatment menu for her next procedure or loitering by our substantial product display!!
Ali has been in the beauty and Aesthetics industry for many years having worked for large cosmetic clinics. She came to Medispa S10 in order to combine her vast experience with her passion for customer care and takes pride in her ability to achieve fantastic results.
Nicky retrained as an Aesthetician after having her two beautiful children, Sonny and Lola. Nicky is passionate about skin care, having suffered personally with her own skin issues. Nicky’s attention to detail and caring nature make her popular member of our team.
Mozhgan has a bachelor degree in nursing but decided to pursue a career in laser and beauty industry. She is an extremely experienced laser aesthetician having previous clinic work and has a big interest in all anti-ageing treatments.
Emma has over 10 years experience working within the aesthetic & beauty industry. She particularly enjoys helping people with complex skin conditions. After managing a busy clinic in London, working in a laser clinic in Australia and traveling the world Emma decided to join the Medispa S10 team to deliver the most advance and up to date treatments.
Dr Waqas Nawaz
Cosmetic Doctor MBChB / GMC Registered
Dr Nawaz provides bespoke non-surgical treatments, specific to each individual patient and their unique requirements. He aims to achieve a natural and fresh appearance to the face and body, by employing his whole person approach and facial contouring. Dr Nawaz has pioneered and develops new techniques and methods in facial rejuvenation, where he is committed to providing safe and effective treatments, focusing on unique, patient-centered and honest treatments.
Michel Thompson

Michel is on the accredited register Save Face which is PSA accredited and recognised by the Government, The Department of Health, NHS England, The CQC and HEE.
Also a member of the Aesthetic complications expert group.
Michel combines years of experience , a voracious appetite for continued learning to offer a informed safe service which is unique to you personally .
In her spare time Michel enjoys riding her horses and walking her dogs.
