We recently saw a fantastic article about our amazing 3D Lipo Treatment and really wanted to share it with you. A totally unbiased review about one of our best permanent fat removal treatments.

Take a look for yourself:

Liposuction is the process of fat removal by using a canula and negative pressure to suck it out.

However, there’s a new procedure on the scene that’s said to have fewer side effects and without the need for the canula to be inserted. This called 3D lipolysis (or 3D lipo).

As it’s relatively new, a lot of people are still unsure of how it works or the effectiveness of 3D lipo.

Here, we’ll look into the process so you can make an informed choice.

3D lipo is slightly different to laser lipo, which uses heat from fibre-optic lasers at various wavelengths to melt body fat.

Most places offering this treatment will use a diode laser. However, according to proponents of 3D lipo, they use methods called ‘Cavitation’ and ‘Cryolipolysis’ which physically destroys the fat cells instead of just breaking them up and releasing them into the body.

A gel is placed onto your skin, and ultrasound plates are moved over your body. Apparently, there is no pain, and it feels like a warming massage. This part is the cavitation. The crylipolysis uses extreme cold to freeze the fat cells to destroy them.

Cavitation is for inch loss, while crylipolysis is to get rid of stubborn fat pockets.

With laser lipo, you’re required to exercise post-treatment to ensure the fat is released, whereas this isn’t the case with the 3D option.

As well as the fat loss from the cavitation and cryolipolysis, you might also be offered radio frequency treatment to tighten the skin and dermology, which is a deep rolling of the skin to reduce cellulite.

The reason it is called 3D lipo, is to incorporate the three apparent effects of the procedure: Fat removal, skin tightening, and cellulite reduction.

Obviously the main difference between traditional liposuction is that this is completely non-invasive, with no need for therapists to go under the skin.

Traditional liposuction has quite a few side effects including bruising, embolisms, necrosis, and other more serious symptoms.

With 3D lipo, you may experience some discomfort after each treatment, but the side effects from entering the skin will not be there.

With any fat loss treatment there is also the downside that – if you don’t change your diet and exercise habits – the fat could come back.

It’s also a costly procedure, at up to £200 per treatment. Some people need multiple treatments to see any sort of change, so this needs to be taken into account.

Many people recommend the treatment, and celebrity fans include Katie Price, Amy Childs, and Anthony Costa. However, as with any treatment, you should consult a doctor first and make sure you’re given a full consultation beforehand, so you know any risks.
